Florida Medical Association (FMA)- The Florida Medical Association serves as an advocate for physicians and their patients to promote the public health, to ensure high standards in medical education and ethics, and to enhance the quality and availability of health care.

American Medical Association (AMA)- Serving as the voice of the American medical profession, AMA develops and promotes standards in medical practice, research, and education; serves as advocate on behalf of physicians and patients; and provides timely information on health matters.

Fostering excellence and advancing health care through support of education, reserach, and service, the AMA Foundation continues its tradition of supporting the medical community.

Lee County Medical Society Alliance- The Lee County Medical Society Alliance and its Foundation is a community service organization whose membership consists of the spouses of members of the Lee County Medical Society. Our purpose is to work in partnership with the Medical Society to promote health education, identify and address health care needs and issues, encourage involvement in legislative education, and support health related charitable endeavors.

State Legislation- Representing you and your patients before the Florida Legislature is the primary goal of the Division of Governmental Affairs. This includes developing and implementing a legislative agenda, obtaining bill sponsors, tracking over 6,000 bills, contacting Key Contact Physicians, developing effective grassroots activities and lobbying our bills for passage as well as working to stop legislation that hurts physicians and patients.
